The Corona: the classic proportion
For much of the twentieth century, the Corona was the reference shape against which other cigars were described. Its slimmer girth means more wrapper relative to filler, which many smokers feel gives a more wrapper-forward character.
The Robusto: short and full
The Robusto is shorter but thicker. It has become one of the most popular formats because it offers a fuller smoke in a manageable time. Several famous cigars share exactly the same Robusto factory size, which makes it ideal for comparing brands.
Which should you choose?
